1. Before joining, what did you expect the work and working methods to be like?
2. Describe what actually happened, separately from judgments or assumptions.
3. How did the employee and manager each interpret that situation?
4. What purposes must each side protect, and which methods could be adjusted?
5. Agree on what to check or try next, who will do it, and when you will review it.
